It has two modes of operation – A colour faze through the entire spectrum or alternatively, the Mathmos Tuba can be set to react to music, cycling through a colour changing sequence along with the “beat” or your favourite tunes.The Tuba creates the illusion of not really knowing whether the central space has depth or not. What looks like a solid illuminated disc in the centre is actually a brightly illuminated air space, enabling you to put your hand through it.Moving your hand in front of the light will cause the light to switch from faze mode to music mode.
